The artists, showing great sensitivity to interpretation of Turkish composers work, have recorded the works for the first time.The violin and piano compositions by Ekrem Zeki Un and Seyfettin Asal are great examples of a fine blend of western harmony and Turkish music motives.
Ekrem Zeki Uns Solo violin works “Yudumluk” , Theme and Variations”; “Solo Piano Sonata”, “Guzelleme” and “Kaşıklı Oyun Havası” from Dance Airs as well as Seyfettin Asals Aegean Dances “Zeybek”, “Ağır Zeybek”, “Çengi”, “Gölcük” and magnificent “Fantasia” for violin and piano are presented.
